Perhaps more than anything else, Beth Tikvah is defined by our commitment to offering consistently high quality and wide ranging educational programming. For children, our congregational school strives to inspire our young people with a love for Jewish life and a base of knowledge to cultivate a life long devotion to Jewish values and practices. We are dedicated to enhancing the classroom experience through Shabbat and Holiday observance and Youth activities, creative teaching techniques, and innovative forms of experiential education. Our school is staffed by experienced, certified teachers, and housed in the beautiful Beth Tikvah building. Special annual activities, children's Shabbat programmes, and a parents' association complement school activities. Classes serve ages 4 though High School.
Recognizing the special needs of our special children, Beth Tikvah also offers the award-winning Tikvat Hayyim programme available in three segments: Jewish heritage, Hebrew language, and Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparation. Each student is assessed individually by our director, himself a psychologist and specialist in the field. Students are grouped by age and assisted with a trained and certified staff of two teachers for every eight students.
Adults are treated to a menu of ongoing classes and special adult education lectures and programmes throughout the year, and those who are musically trained are welcome to join our excellent choir.

UPCOMING PROGRAMMES - MARK THE DATES!

ADULT EDUCATION NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Lend your talents to our many fantastic programs. To volunteer, contact geraldziedenberg@hotmail.com or call the synagogue office.

Lunch & Learn Program
We have a great spring programme beginning in the Fall of 2009. Details will be forthcoming in Ma Nishma and Hakol.

We need a person familiar with connecting laptops to the projector in the Synagogue to be available for 1-2 of our luncheon sessions. We have at least two good presenters who are not very adept at this, particularly the session on the Dead Sea Scrolls on May 5th. Please contact geraldziedenberg@hotmail.com or phone the synagogue office.
